Death Knight

Who will be powerleveling one to 80 an want a raid spot

I prolly will work on one to 80, but not sure about raid spot as it always seems im needed to heal..lol

I'll be pumping my deathknight to 80 right off. Putting up with the chaos of the death knight area or the expanded area will be the same lol.

I am a warlock, perfecting that is always my goal.  I have no real interest in any other class.

as mentioned before, I'm going deathknight as my main come wrath. I'm not even taking a 70 to 80 at launch, it'll come much later after I settle in with my DK. that means raid slot.

I have no interest in the death knight which is why I don't remember if this changed or if it was ever the case, but... I thought that getting the death knight character required some level 80 quest?  I thought the death knight also started at level 40-50 or something like that because of it?

Fine, get all decked out in nice tank gear and leave me hanging!  Surprised  

I'll probably play around with a DK on the side, but Crict is my main...at least until I find out how OP the DK really is.  Razz

Last I saw you only needed a character that was level 55 or higher to unlock a DK.

Yep.

I will be leveling my druid to 80 while I play on my deathknight.  However, since DK's can't heal others, I'm sure my current class will be needed more than ever. Smile

I'll probably level a shaman after my warlock LOL, just so I can help fill in where it's needed, if it's needed.  But I will for sure be using my main for the most part.

Chances are, I'll be picking up the Deathknight mantle myself. Unless, of course, Feral Druids start to get some serious love. Some of the idea's they're putting forward for the class is all kind of -meh- rolling all the tanking classes into a more general shape, but still providing some encounters which will require certain skills. So we'll see more Druid MTs, Pally MTs and Deathknight MTs. Let's just hope the Warrior changes allow them a little more freedom to DPS freely.

Hell, seems the whole game is turning into a big question of: "Well, I have a Druid MT, why bring a Warrior MT, and if the Warrior is DPSing, why bring the Rogue?"

From the look of the new Rogue talents we still dont buff the raid. The new raiding Rogue will most likely be 51/20/0 Mutilate. I am going to level a DK and my main.

yeah all you need is a 55 toon and you get a 55 DK.... you lvl to 58 in the new starting zone and head in to outland with all blue gear thats the same as T2 and a epic riding mount....even before your 60

The bunch of us that are going DK on launch day should start up a party and burn through quests. Loon already said he'd be interested.

The BEST part of new territory and new characters is the quests.  My first time through, I like to take my time, look at the scenery, experience it like it was written.  "Burning through" is for the second time around, IMO.  

I know I'm old fashioned that way.

I know that the gear will be pretty much useless, and I didn't forget your app...I'm just busting you chops.  Razz

what what kind of DK spec is everyone going to do..not sure what is best..i dont want to tank..want to dps

I've been messing around with the talent trees, and all of them seem GREAT for damage, the only tree without a protection like talent deep in it is blood.

I'd assume that blood will be damage especially considering the 10% attack power buff (like a mirror of the enhancement shammy talent).

But I could see unholy being a dot em up spec with some nice damage. Not to mention being able to take a hit and put up a magic absorbing field.

Frost is more for tanking, but the frost synergies make me think of frost mages, and how they wreck me  Mad .

So I don't know it depends on which flavor of damage you want.

All three trees are meant to be capable in high rating arena, endgame DPS, endgame tanking, and anything inbetween. Also, blood's 'protection like talent' is actually Vampiric Blood. It's a ridiculous amount of health.

and? presences are tied to role, not spec.

Guess I don't see any damage reduction in the higher tiers of blood, and can't imagine a tank buffing attack power by 10%, but it is a hero class so anything is possible.

But an even more puzzling question... how to pvp, heal yourself, shatter combos, or haha I'm a melee lock? (blood, frost, or unholy)
